Thank You, Nurses

Nurse and Medical Tech

It's more than a job for you, it's more than a loan for us.  Thank you for all you do.

GSF is proud to acknowledge nurses as part of our Serve & Support Benefit program.  Nurses make up the largest contingent of health care workers with over three million registered nurses, and it is one of the fastest growing professions in the country. As demand for nursing care is only expected to grow, the number of nurses in the country will surely continue to rise in the near future.

GSF is committed to assisting with the housing needs of one of our nation’s fastest growing and most needed professions.  We recognize that nurses are far more than doctor’s assistants.  Many of us fondly remember a school or clinic nurse who helped us or our children through a belly ache or a sore vaccination. Nurses provide their services in, “private practices, public health agencies, primary care clinics, home health care, outpatient surgicenters, health maintenance organizations, nursing-school operated nursing centers, insurance and managed care companies, nursing homes, schools, mental health agencies, hospices, the military, and industry.

Other nurses work in careers as college and university educators preparing future nurses or as scientists developing advances in many areas of health care and health promotion.” (www.aacn.nche.edu) It is virtually impossible to get one’s health care needs met without relying on the service of a nurse.  We would like to extend the benefits of our Serve & Support Benefit program to the nurses of our community, and to thank you for your service to us and our families.
